Every Friday, I will be sharing a list of styles, products, books and podcasts that brought me a bit of joy this week in hopes you will find a bit of joy as well. Cheers to building community and getting kickass recommendations from a friend!

This adorable babydoll maxi dress from ASTR! I want to wear this frolicking through a forest with a basket full of croissants but might just have to save it for a date night instead. I linked it to their website but it can also be found at Nordstrom Rack.

Origins Into the Glow Vitamin C Serum is *chef's kiss* to my morning skincare routine lately. I've been using it for about two months and my skin has never been better. My scars have faded and my terrible dark circles have even seemed to lighten. I tested out so many Vitamin C serums before this one and was so happy when it finally shone through.

THE freakum dress. I just ordered this and I already want it in every single color. Peppermayo's ad targeting has definitely worked because I have spent so much time on their site this last week. I will keep you updated on the fit.

I've talked about this before but it's just because it is really that good. My one qualm is that in the 100 degree Arizona heat, it tends to melt off if put on too heavily but that could just be an AZ problem. It goes on so smoothly and is perfect for my "no makeup" makeup look.

Another recent purchase from Urban outfitters. This one reminded me of a dress my Nanie brought back for me from Mexico (pictured below) so I had to get it for nostalgia sake...that's what I'm telling my credit card bill. I'm nervous about the fit on this around the chest area but thinking about myself wearing it made me excited so here's hoping!

Warby Parker is IT. I don't know if it's because I hadn't changed my prescription in three years and I definitely should have or if these glasses are just a vibe but the price, the look, the fact I had to order wide fit since I apparently have a large head - I was into it. For all my visually challenged friends out there, definitely check out their free try on box when you need a new pair.

I might be late to this but it is so rare you find a book that is so inspiring, empowering and raw. I applaud Glennon Doyle for her vulnerability and strength in sharing her story. This book has made me rethink so much of the way I live. I've asked myself why we mold ourselves to fit what other people desire or what makes them comfortable. We were born to be wild and have the knowing within us to live a fulfilled and joyful life.

I never thought of myself as a 'walker' until I left New York and started to realize/miss just how much walking I really did there. Now I'm lucky if I hit 5,000 steps and most are to the kitchen and back to my desk. I started taking 20 minute walks on my lunch break when it's not 500 degrees outside and these Life Kit podcast episodes are the perfect entertainment. From mental health, social issues, how to begin to sew, how to find love, they really discuss such a variety of topics that it's perfect for my easily distracted brain.

That does it for my first Friday Favorites! If you made it this far, I appreciate you. Have a great weekend lovelies.

xoxo
